ABOUT ME

People may say I am obsessed with dogs, and they would be correct. I have always loved being around dogs and I feel so fortunate that I am able to do this on a daily basis. When I am not training dogs, I spend a good amount of my time working out and work part-time teaching Group Fitness Classes. I am an avid Liverpool FC fan and also love to spend as much of my free time as I can hiking and exploring all the nature I can. Photography has made its way into my world and I LOVE capturing moments but most importantly, canine candids!!

Back to business! I started Griffin Ballard Canine Services to help you build a strong and everlasting relationship with you and your four legged best friend. Whether we need to address some basic manners, reactivity and other behavior modification, I am here to set you both up for success. The goal behind all of the training is to thoroughly enhance the bond between you and your best friend but also bridge any gaps that may be present and give you all the tools to succeed in the future.

A transplant from Texas recently, I relocated to the Greenville to professionally continue my career as a dog trainer. I am a graduate and Certified Dog Trainer of the Victoria Stilwell Training Academy (VSACDT), one of the worlds leading institutes for professional dog trainer education founded by renowned dog behavior expert Victoria Stilwell. I am one of the main trainers for the SPCA and have worked with them directly aiding their behavioral team. I am a force-free, science based dog trainer who uses only positive reinforcement methods for our training. I take your dogs’s health and well being as seriously as humanly possible!

 

I believe that owning a dog is an amazing and rewarding experience, but also a responsibility, not a luxury. Training your dog properly will lead you to a greater understanding of your dog, and I firmly believe in the owner-dog relationship being one of mutual understanding and respect.
